The Batalha Monastery was built to thank the Virgen Mary (Fatima) for the winning of the battle of Aljubarrota. This place took 2 centuries to build. It was started in 1386 and was finally finished in 1517. This was an awesome place. There was so much detail in every part of the monastery.
